Patrick has worked tirelessly as an open space advocate. His work has turned a once forgotten park into the jewel for the Western Slope. He knows there is much more work to be done and he wants to get to work on improving all open spaces and creating new ones for all to enjoy.

Patrick's Plan

• Work collaboratively with our parks organizations to improve our open spaces

• Work to increase the understaffed division of Parks and Forestry so we ensure we have the manpower to provided services.

• Work to ensure that Open Space Trust Fund dollars are utilized on a yearly bases to improve our current open spaces

• Work with the community to revitalize Terrace Avenue Park 

• Finish renovations of Riverview Park, Leonard Gordon Park, and the JC Reservoir. 

• Meet with park organizations monthly to heard feedback, action items, and address concerns.
